On 18 February 2023, the Troop conducted it’s annual hike, this time through DC starting at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo with a quick orienteering course through the zoo with a few stops to see the animals along the way. Then a quick jaunt over to the Klingle Trail and up to the Washington National Cathedral. Finally we took Massachusetts Avenue past Embassy Row and the United States Naval Observatory down to Foggy Bottom for the Metro ride back home. The Scouts had fun; next year we won’t do it on a holiday weekend.
