For the first time since in several years, Troop 1214 is again hosted by a religious organization. This year the Scouts and some Scouters of the combined Troops (771 & 1214) supported St. Martin’s Lutheran Church on Scout Sunday, 8 February 2026. One of our new ASMs, Timothy Clingenpeel, and one of your younger Scouts performed Bible readings and the other Scouts served as ushers and collected the tithes from the church members.
It was a great day and a perfect way to give back to the Church that gave us a home and welcomed the Troop and Pack with open arms. It was also nice to celebrate Scout Sunday as a Troop and provide some service to our gracious hosts.
