On 11 January 2025, Troop 1214’s Experienced Scout Program (ESP) Scouts and Scouters went on a long day-trip to Whitetail Ski Resort for a fun day of skiing and camaraderie. We were joined by Scouts and a young leader from Troop 771 out of Annapolis, a Troop that we were recently introduced to last year.
Mr. Mike taught some beginner skier lessons to the assembled Scouts that had never skied before, and by the end of the day the Scouts were skiing on their own and in pairs. The Scouts had an amazing time learning to ski and developing new friendships with their fellow Scouts in Troop 771. There were genuinely happy smiles on everyone’s faces and everyone involved had a blast! Glad to see this tradition continue and we are looking forward to developing a closer relationship with Troop 771 moving forward. #ScoutMeIn #ScoutingAmerica
